What will I make?
The Classic Session:
A pair of earrings, a necklace, or a bracelet.
The Stem Session:
A bespoke bridal crown made with rare1950s deadstock stamens.
What will I learn?
THE Basic& Classic
SESSIONS:
You will learn the fundamentals of jewellery construction and assembly.
THE STEM SESSION:
You will master two core millinery techniques:
Clustering: Grouping stamens into small bunches and wrapping their stems tightly with floral tape.
Assembly: Securing, twisting, and layering the clusters sequentially along a custom wire base to construct a seamless, lush crown.
Will you provide
materials?
THE BASIC SESSION:
The focus of this session is mastering technique rather than making a finished piece.
THE CLASSIC SESSION:
You have full access to our main material table (a variety of glass, metal, ceramic, wood, and shell beads), as well as beading wire and all necessary findings and connectors.
THE STEM SESSION:
You have access to our private collection of rare 1950s deadstock stamens, along with all necessary wires and professional crafting tools. (Note: Ribbons and additional flowers are not included, but you are welcome to bring your own!)
How do I get there?
Our address is Rijnsburgstraat 74, Amsterdam.
We are in the Hoofdorpplein area, easily accessible by public transport, or a 5-minute cycle from Vondelpark's South end.
On Sundays, free parking is available in the neighborhood.
Do I need any
previous experience
with jewelry or
millinery making?
The session is suitable for beginners but also fun for more experienced makers.
What languages do
you speak?
The default workshop language is English, but I also speak basic Dutch (B1) and could host the event in Japanese.
